Oh, yeah, rewired with OCCC wire, hand doped cones, film and foil coupling caps, and a removed dust caps and added wood phase plugs.

Built the stock Crack some days back, and I'm loving it fed by my Xonar sound card. I'm using the HD650s. I heard a lot of good things about the ODAC..I'm in for an affordable DAC to use with my laptop. Undecided whether to get the ODAC or HRT M Streamer II...Anyone had a listen to these DACs?

I have the ODAC.

In short: Lots of hifi for your buck. It extracts every little detail from your file and actually presents it in a fairly good soundstage.
In absolute terms it does not float my boat as Americans say.

But it might just be your cup of tea. Not a DAC that will be used in my main system. But absolutely able enough as DAC in my hobby room computer system.

For $100 you can't go wrong with the Modi by Schiit. USB only with no external power and it comes in a slick little steel chassis.
