Found Sarah Jarosz on the NPR Tiny Desk series. A conservatory trained, young Mandolin whiz who doesn't sound 12 years old.

Google search video "Transatlantic Sessions - Sarah Jarosz"  some good pieces with a few of the folk/bluegrass music legends accompanying her. If you can find it her duet with Alison Krauss of Runaway is a cracker I think Jerry Douglas was also accompanying.

I have to become more aware of the Tiny Desk series.

Sarah is a keeper.  She is on Sugar hill, that usually means good engineering and mastering.

Thanks for the recommendation.

Been on Youtube all day since UPS got here. I have a new main system and I'm stoked.

Replaced my old Dell XP machine last month with the flower of 2010 technology, a Dell 960 Optiplex; $160 bucks refurb, screamin' fast browser.
One of those cigarette box 20 watt amps and todays addition, Dayton B652 Air, $60 bucks.

For what the Dell puts out the Daytons sound great, never get shrill and do some justice to low "E" strings.

Great stuff at the Tiny Desk.

Thanks Bill. Just ordered "Song up in her Head". I think I'm going to really like this lady. Listened to the Youtube " Troubadour" video. Pretty nice!
