I bought a Paramount kit 12 years ago. I painted the chassis plates when I received it. Then I moved to another state. Finally got around to building it.
I only lost one of the AC power switches. The output transformers were built with the windings in the frames up-side-down. This was a known issue, and with the help of Paul B., was easy to resolve. With the recommendation of Paul, I replaced the old LEDs to be safe. I had a bag of sealed HLPM-6000s with a desiccant bag and a humidity indictor card; I used those. Now to build the $99 Foreplay I have in the stash, it's probably 25 years old.
