Hi - I accidentally cut the white/brown striped wire too short coming off of OT-2 6 & 7. Can I just take off that twisted pair and replace it with another twisted pair? I have extra blue/white or orange/white. Just making sure that the color on the insulation is just color and not actually a different type of wire. Thanks.

It would be fine to use your spare wire. I would probably use the blue white because I prefer blue to orange ;D
