I was wondering if it is safe to run a headphone on both of the outputs at the same time?
I didn't notice this till recently but both of the outputs on the Mainline produces sound at the same time. I often leave my HD650s plugged into the 1/4 jack while using the XLR jack to power other headphones. I thought the balanced switch worked like a kill switch between the 2 outputs. Is there any danger from having 2 headphones plugged in at the same time? especially since the HD650 are 300ohms and the other headphones I have been plugging in are around 30ohms. Would having such a large difference between ohms on the 2 headphones cause driver issues or cause improper amounts of power being sent to the lower ohm headphones?
