Foreplay and Paramour integrated

Hi
I must admit that my Bottlehead gear had been collecting dust since lately I spend time listening to headphones from pc
so I've decided to make few upgrades (chassis is just a beginning).
I'm waiting for new iron from MQ, anyway output hum is under 1.1mV  and I must say that I'm having hard time deciding between Cavalli Bijou - designated headphone amp and Paramour rigged for headphones.

That is a very eye-pleasing treatment.  The copper on wood looks really nice and I love the dual power switches (I'm guessing one is "standby"?).  What is the "Cap" switch for?

Yes, power switches "down" are standby and "up" power on.
Cap disconnects 2a3 cathode bypass caps for now but I might experiment with different values in the future so it's there to make it easy to compare.
 
Thought it might be something along that line.

That is a real heirloom piece.  A beautiful creation that should impress and please for many years.  It's one of those things that as soon as you see it you know that a lot of work and attention to detail went in to it.  A real labor of love.

very nice--a very nice design--the few i have done are nice enough looking some what like steam punk meets yamamoto-yours has a  much classier blend of form and function
