My Quickie base is done! The Q is built stock, and has the PJCCS installed. The base is made out of 1 X 4 maple, was sanded with 100, 150, and 220 grit sandpapers, and finished with Minwax stain conditioner, Cherry Stain, and 4 coats of satin polyurethane. In the future, I would like to upgrade the output caps to K75-10 Russian paper in oil caps. What else would make a big difference in sound besides the caps? It could probably use some feet for microphonics damping, but I haven't look much into that yet.
