Electronics book or reference website

Hi everyone,

I am hoping people could give some advice on an electronics book that would explain things in layman terms.  I have been on this forum and a lot of great information is discussed but still a lot goes over my head!  I want to get better and understand.

I can't afford to go back to school for an Electronics Engineering degree, both I don't have the time or money!  I would like to get your thoughts on a book that you would recommend or a website or other resource that you would recommend so that I can get better educated .

Google NEETS Modules 6, 7, and 8.  Also RCA Radiotron Manual.  These should give you the basics for free.  There are plenty of "books of knowledge" on tubes and tube amps out there.

Hey Dave,
I found the Crowhurst series on tube circuits particularly good for a relative beginner (which I still consider myself to be).
You can download them from Pete Millett's site that was linked to earlier.
