Crack with custom wood base

Just built my first crack kit. I work in a wood shop so I built my own base out of jatoba wood with 5 coats of clear lacquer.

Looks very nice. I like the rounded edges on the top too.

Thanks, it's a 1/4 inch chamfer. I thought it added a nice touch.

Very nice.  Was it done from one piece, it looks like the grain is continuous at the corner? (also, are those bluejeans rca? looks very similar to mine).

Unfortunately I only had short pieces but I was able to get the front and side panels out of one piece. the back and right are from another piece, and don't have the nice striping.
