Crack Final Check [resolved]

Hello,

First-time builder here. On the final voltage check, the TRS jack voltage doesn't seem to climb to 9V and then drop back down again. It only climbed to 0.1V and then dropped down to zero. Is this a problem? If so, what can I do to fix it? Here's a photo of the TRS jack:

That mod is there so there should be minimal voltage spike on startup.
The OP already HAS NO voltage spike.
So if all resistances and voltages check, there really isn't much point in doing the mod.

Of course there is a chance the meter doesn't pick up the spike if it is there, since it doesnt last long.
 
Yeah, a lack of a spike isn't necessarily a cause for concern, we just mention it because if you have 9V at the headphone jack, and it never drops, then there's a problem worth looking into!
