My old friend Jackie Pancari sent me this awesome image of a Japanese electronics store from around 1930.

She was a visiting artist at the Tacoma Museum of Glass a few years ago, where Eileen and I went to see her make some of those lovely spheres with the delicate twisted filaments of color that sit in the mirrored bowls you see in the video.
