Connection with stereo amplifier

Help me understand the designed connection to a stereo power amplifier.

If a banana plug to rca adapter cable is plugged into the speaker output terminals of the stereo amplifier and the rca end of said adapter is plugged into the Sublime rca inputs how does the stereo amplifier connect to the stereo speakers?

The speaker cable connects with a set of standard spade lug cables. That's why binding posts used to be called "five way" posts. Multiple connection methods mean you can connect spade lugs and banana plugs at the same time.  Also the hole in the binding post shaft creates yet another couple of ways to connect using bare wire or an old fashioned pin connector. And the least good way is to wrap bare wire around the post shaft and tighten down the clamping nut.

OK, so I've been distracted for a while but I'm back at getting my Sublime in good working condition. I did figure out the intended connecion to the integrated amp. I should have thought of that on my own. Sometimes I get lost in the details.

I connected and fired 'er up recently and get no sound at all from it. I checked the power supply voltage and it reads 24 volts both positive and negative, the leds all light up, I traced all the wires to each end's connection and verified they are correct. What else can I do to diagnose this problem?

Start with the easy stuff. Make sure you have good contact with the cables from the Sublime to the Subette. Often this problem is simply due to the speaker cable end not making good contact at one of the binding posts.
