Clarity Cap. The smaller ones are MR series and the big blues are TC series.
I guess I could elaborate on them a bit. For several years I've been a fan of the Sonicap Gen 1 caps. I've used them in my Quickie, my Dynaco ST70, MkIV's, and ST35 amps as well as my speaker's crossovers. I've found them to sound better than the Solen, Kimber and Dayton caps I've tried.
The Clarity MR series is in a whole other league. Wider and deeper soundstage. Veils lifted. Pacing and rhythm seem faster and more "live". Bass is better separated and tuneful. I think I've squeezed all the performance I'm gonna get from my ST35. It certainly doesn't sound like a classic tube amp. It sounds ridiculously good considering I've got less than a grand put into it!
I got a glowing recommendation for the MR caps in speaker crossovers by the owner of Van L Speakerworks here in Chicago. His Quartet speakers are some of the best I've ever heard. The stereo just disappears and the performers are right there in the room with you! I've been thinking of putting MR caps in my speaker crossovers but dang that gets expensive!
