Completed my build and realized I left the nylon washers off.....

So my transformer isn't shielded from the top plate I imagine....

Is there an easy fix, such as shaving and inserting the/a washer or do I need to bend the terminal strips back and remove the screws and install the shoulder washer?

Damn it!

Terminals 1 2 4 5 and center pin ss of both RCA give no reading. Everything else checks out.

Pictures shortly when I get closer to WiFi.

Further: the two tabs on the pot are the only 2 tabs that don't give a resistance when measured. The others zero out. A1 and A6 are the only 9 pin tabs that give no resistance readout.

Edit: played with my DMM and got the RCA to give back a reading, they're fine.

TERRIBLY SORRY FOR THE SPAM POSTS

This Fluke DMM gave me a run for my novice money. I had it set on kOhm and it wasn't giving readings but I let it auto output and it's giving .200MOhm or more at these terminal tabs. So all is good!

I went ahead and addedthe shoulder washers in. If I get between .7 and 1.1 Ohm (avg .7-.8) on the zero ohm checks when my ground lug gives the same range?

The washers isolate not only the transformer, but also the screws. They are necessary for safety and noise. You need to remove your transformer and install the nylon washers as instructed.

Yeah, I knew the answer before posting it and actually went ahead and replaced them.

Sorry for the train of thought posts. We're golden though!
