ClarityCap TC 450VDC vs. 700VDC

Looking at previous posts it seems that many people are using ClarityCap TC 700VDC caps. Is there any issue with 450VDC versions or difference in sound maybe ? Other than being more expensive 700VDC caps are much bigger / difficult to fit under the chassis.

I am looking at the potential cost of upgrading the output caps and last cap in the power supply.

Thanks
Thomas

Check the schematic and voltage test points.  The output cap is 160V.  The three PS caps are 250V. Higher voltage usually means heavier dielectric, but, IMO, generally not better sound.

Thanks Geary. Indeed, that's why I was surprised with people using the 700VDC caps.

It could just be because they are easier to source?

For some scale the Clarity cap 230 uf  is 62mm diameter x 100mm

My JFX 200uf is 57mm x 115mm

The Clarity cap 110 uf is  52mm diameter x 76mm height

My JFX  100uf  49.5mm x 59mm  black cap at the bottom

That would be my best guess!
