Quick question, the CX-7 Triad replaces the white 270ohm wirewound resistor on terminal 13L and 15L correct?

Yes, you are correct. It can replace either of the resistors on the power supply unit. Most people replace the resistor between the 2nd and 3rd capacitors with the choke which is the one you are referring to.
