A arveedub New member Jan 9, 2010 #1 What's with the chassis vents? Is there that much heat generated? I'd like to mount the amp on an enclosed case. Should I include some vents underneath for airflow? Thanks!

P Paul Joppa Moderator Jan 9, 2010 #2 Yes, the airflow is essential. Both the shunt regulator and the plate load C4S's dissipate a lot of heat. We'll be putting more vents in more chassis as time goes on.
