I'm a part time audiophile/builder of BH products/photographer/woodcrafter/father/etc/etc/etc.

After the B.H forum, I mostly follow a respected photography forum.  And I must say, this forum is so refreshing.  It so rarely falls victim to nastiness, let alone name calling.  One of the other forums I follow is nearly melting down due to said mention of nastiness and I just want to say it is a tribute to bottlehead, and the participants, and to probably some luck and love of the sound, that this forum does.  not.  do.  that.

I think as kit builders we all have done dumb things.  I am not immune.  I needed PJ's help to install my Anticipation upgrade about a year ago.  I just wasn't getting the C4S board leads to the right places.

Empathy, knowing that you have been there wondering what went wrong is what I think keeps us tolerant of mistakes.

Thanks for the kind words. The main thrust of this forum has always been to create a resource for learning about this stuff. Learning takes a huge amount of patience, both from the student and from the teacher. It's nice that we have grownups on this forum. It's also a nice plus that they are literate.
