Burned resistor... or more

Hi all,

I've been greatly enjoying my Stereomour II--it's wonderful. I've had quite a bit of success with it, having installed the DC supply, the shunt regulator, and the attenuator. After having one channel fall out after a bump, I used a chopstick to find a cold solder joint on B3. I fixed that, but as I was testing it, I bumped the resistor at B8 and it connected with B7 and this, I think, caused a short. I moved everything back, but not before smoke emerged from the 130 ohm resistor between 31L & 34L. I rapidly shut the power off, but realized that on both boards the LEDs had gone out on one channel. The resistor is darkened and obviously toast.

My question is this: What is the best way to repair this issue? I can, of course, replace the 130 ohm resistor -- but how might I check whether other elements were damaged in the process and what needs to be replaced.

Thanks always for your help!

I would just buy several 130 Ohm 2W resistors. There's a good chance that you just need to replace that one resistor, but having some spares isn't a bad idea.
