Bottlehead tech?

I bought a original beepree 300b preamp from a friend, he did not build it and I know nothing of electronics. Is there a tech in this forum that I could send the preamp to have him check it out and make sure it was done correctly? Or am I being an insecure audiophile? Could be.

If you have a copy of the manual, you could run the voltage and resistance checks in the back. If you don’t have a copy of the manual you can email me at [email protected] and I can sell you a copy. You’d need a multimeter like this one to run the tests.

Shipping that fully built preamp around is going to be expensive to do it right, and you’ll risk turning a possibly running preamp into a possibly not working one if it gets damaged in shipping.
