Beepre to solid state amp

Hello,

I have an eros that feeds a BeePre.  Wondering if I can plug this directly in to a Solid State amp I built (LM3875).  The Beepre I understand is 500 ohms output impedance.  I believe the SS amp is 22K input impedance.  Will this work out ok?

Thanks,
Tom DeWitt

Yes it will be fine.  I used to run mine into a 10k load w/o issues.  Be careful of how much gain that SS amp has though.  If it's too much, you may need to put an L-pad in front of it.

If the volume gets really loud really fast and you don't have much "listenable range" in the volume control you have tooo much gain.

I am driving a Hegel H20 SS 200 Watt amp and am using Rothwell in-line 10 dB attenuators. This worked very well for me. Just plug in the attenuators and you are done. It also lowered the noise floor and there is no noticeable sound coming from my loudspeakers when there is no input.
