R RobsterD New member Jun 20, 2013 #1 Hi Built a Quickie and have a B1 buffer that I have kicking around,so I'm going to mount it in the amp as a separate output in parallel to the existing output. Where would be best to connect after the o/p caps or before ? Cheers Rob

Paul Birkeland Moderator Staff member Jul 5, 2013 #3 If you connect before the coupling caps, the plate voltage of the tubes will be present at that connection. A fair amount of this will be shunted to ground when you plug it into the B1, and you'll probably draw an arc or get a spark. -PB
