Anything new

A new product that is quite a bit different than what we have offered before, but was still developed prior to the new ownership. They are making a few tweaks though.

I'll let the new boss fill in the deets, but I know that the manual is in the process of being edited. FWIW I had prototypes running at the old studio for many months. When M.A.K.E. took over Bottlehead I loaned one of mine to PB as a reference for the production prototype build (which is almost identical). It was a thrill to get that loaner back and get my big system set up for the first time at home last week. I had been running my Jagers from my Denon HT receiver. Getting the prototype amps back on the Jagers was an "oh hell yeah!" moment.

Have to say I hadn't considered how much fun it would be to cram all the gear from work into our house when we retired. We have the big system running in our home theater on the front channels, which uses a 95" projection setup and 7.2 surround. In the dining room we have the Neothoriator 845 amp and Sublime subwoofer amps running Pipettes and Subettes and fed from an Amazon Echo. I tend to sit with my laptop at the dining table and it's nice to be able to bluetooth YouTube audio to that system. In my basement I have a Mac Mini as workstation, running into a Nagra 7 as DAC, into a Stereomour 2 connected to some old Andrew Jones Pioneer towers.

Still some stuff to button up before we’re ready to release it. We’re waiting on a shipment of some components. We held off on having chassis plates produced, for instance, in case the layout changed. That turned out to be a good idea since it did change a bit. Since we don’t yet have chassis plates (hopefully arriving later this week), we can’t build the local kit for website and marketing purposes.

I’m still working through the manual. This week was busier than most and we had some family travel. This’ll probably take a week or two since there isn’t a great way to shortcut the image cropping and cleanup.

So bear with us a little longer. We’re materially closer to launching this than we were even a month ago.
