Cary Member Nov 28, 2014 #1 I just want to be sure is it safe to use the 6SN7 in the SEX 2.0 and 2.1 without changing anything? Thanks! Cary

B boulos New member Dec 3, 2014 #5 I've tried a few well used 6SN7GTB tubes in the SEX 2.1. As cautioned before, the amp runs the tubes harder than usual for a 6SN7. It has revealed a few tubes to be noisy (or perhaps it contributed to the issue).
