Quick check... I'm gonna walk on the wild side and roll some 12BH7s and E80CCs. I have the latest Crack version, 1.1 with PT-10 transformer, plus Speedball. Stock build. I don't have any issues with the stock tube complement types, but I do have a lot of E80CCs and some 12BH7s on hand.
It looks like all's well with just plugging in the 12BH7. I would like to confirm whether there's anything that might need to be done to run the E80CC?
Are there "optimizations" for each tube type? Will the Speedball CCS just make the right adjustments within an operating window?
This leaves me thinking about, and not fully understanding, how different tube parameters interact with one another. Mu, Rp, Gm, and others. What are the sensitivity windows. Do small changes in one effect big changes somewhere else? Or not? Lots of questions.
