volume pot

With volume at 0  i get a hum. As soon as i advance it it is quiet as a mouse. Audio note Potentiometer has worked fine for a long time. Any ideas.

I would perhaps post some build photos.  It's possible that there's a solder joint that isn't 100% that's just now making itself known.
