Voltage Check [Solved]

Hi,

Started my first build a week ago and have been taking it very slowly. Everything was fine until the last Voltage check.

Readings are all over the place and even after following the manual multiple times to figure out what was wrong, I couldn't figure out the issue.

Does anyone know how to fix it?

To specify, when I mean all over the place, I meant that my multimeter isn't even able to get a stable reading. It'll go anywhere between 0 and overload.

What happens with your meter if you try to use it to measure a 9V battery?

I sadly do not have a 9V battery accessible,

But every other mesure as been accurate so far I believe.

How about measuring the voltage of a battery in general?

Tried on a 1.5V AA battery and it spikes at 1.2V and gradually goes down to 0

Ok so I feel dumb for this one but it just wasn't set up as DC...

But now I'm running into a bigger problem where there’s just no sound comming out...

Everything checked out,

The audio issue came from my Schiit BiForst but I quickly fixed it!

I would hang for a week or so to let the amp break in and be sure all is well.

Flaky solder joints have a way of taking some time to avail themselves sometimes, and the process of installing the Speedball will jiggle everything around and can make those problems appear.  Often when that happens the builder will believe there is an issue with the Speedball itself rather than the Crack, so for that reason waiting a little while can be helpful to be sure the stock build is solid.
