Trouble viewing attached jpgs

I am not sure what is happening. I don't ever recall having this problem in the past and I was curious as to whether it is on my end or whether there is a problem on the site.  I have tried two different computers and a phone but I cannot view image files that are attached in the gallery.  I can see the in-line pics fine.  But when I try to open the attached files, I either get an error telling me that the file is damaged or too big, or I get a colorful display of pixels that don't form an image.  I have tried the same pics on my phone and they appear as solid black.  I have tried just opening them from the browser as well as saving them first.  I am using Windows 8.1 machines and have tried three different programs to open the jpgs.  Still no go.  Jpgs from other sources open fine, just not from this site.  Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong?  I can tell that the files are--or have been--viewable based on comments about how nice the builds look.

Thanks for any help,

The site has just been redone and that is a small bug we will be working to fix this week.

Thanks, Doc.  I thought I was losing it.  Well, I might be losing it anyway, but that is another topic.

Doc - what's the latest on recovering the old images.  I see that some, but not all, of the images in the gallery forum are visible yet.  Can/will they all be recovered?

At this point we have not been able to recover the images. Those that you can see have probably been posted since the changeover. I apologize for the problem with the images. Our inability to access folders like that which housed the images was a major reason that we changed hosts. The previous host was exceptionally difficult to work with, refused to allow us root access, refused to update our server's PHP and mismanaged an abortive attempt to move our site to their cloud service. Frankly we are lucky to have lost as little as we did. Kudos to our IT man Josh Perelli for struggling with the old host for days in order to salvage what he did and to get it up on this wicked hot new host.

I imagine that the justifiable pride that builders have in their projects means that a lot of those images are still on personal hard drives. We encourage everyone to repost their images both in the gallery and in other categories.
