Trim pots in the mainline

I received a brand new mainline kit a little over a week ago. I notice that the trim pots do not fit the holes on the pc board. The board has three hole in a direct (straight) line. The pots supplied have the pins in an offset. I can make them work by doing some extra bending but have a concern that they may not be the correct pots since the pins are not in a straight line. Is it ok to do so or should these pots be replace? Note this is my 4th kit and have never had an issue such as this. Please advise and thank you

Hi Robert - I'll respond to your email as well, but I spoke with PB and he said this is expected. The Mainline has been using this setup for quite a while and there haven't been issues.

Yes, you'll have to bend the pins a bit and the trim pot won't sit flat on the PC board.  Typically these are adjusted with extreme infrequency, so there isn't much of a concern.

Thanks.    I already did that.  Just wanted to make sure.
