This thing was fun to build.
It's driving these monsters:
There is volume to spare, 3.5 watts is more than enough.
About the finish: The cabinet got a 1/4 rounding with a router, and then 4 coats of Varathane Gloss Polyurethane, lightly sanding between the 1st and 2nd coats only. Before the 3rd and 4th coats, I just gave it a rub with some printer paper to knock off any spikes and dust. No stain. The chassis is one (1!) coat of Rust-oleum Copper Hammertone. Thanks to Doc B for the tip on using that stuff lightly.
I'll post listening impressions in the Stereomour forum later on. (Spoiler alert: it sounds great!)
