Mirror imaging can be pretty tricky, be sure to build the stock one first and get it up and working before getting too far on the one that's flipped around.
I would also not recommend those particular tube sockets, as I've seen a lot of them come in on kits that need repair. They are difficult to work with since they have posts but not eyelets, and the 9 pin one doesn't fit properly. There are gold/ceramic versions of the sockets we provide that fit perfectly.
