Finally finished my first Crack and it sounds wonderful. I will add the Speedball upgrade after a week or two.
Decided to try a wrinkle black finish first but quickly found out that it was a PITA to clean when it got dusty.
So I went with a hammered grey finish instead to match my HD650.
I also couldn't help but tube roll so I got a RCA 6AS7G and Chatham 6AS7G (bought together for only $10). Also got a some Mullard 12AU7s (labelled Telefunken though).
Built this with my dad, I did the woodwork, chassis and wire routing, while he did all the soldering. I will most likely clean up the paint on the bottom of the chassis later on. Overall it was a very fun build and can't wait to hear it with the Speedball.
