Stereomour II: Stock Model, No Upgrades – Total Delight

Just completed my first Stereomour II. Stock model, no upgrades installed (yet ...)

I am totally, completely delighted with this product. It's compact and gorgeous.

Sounds amazing with the Pipette speakers, and sounds great with my nothing-special vintage 1959 Motorola console speakers.

Astoundingly, my build passed all resistance and voltage checks on first try – a first for me.

(I did build this very patiently, my work spread over about 10 sessions of two-three hours each session, where I absolutely would not proceed to the next step unless everything felt exactingly perfect; that discipline probably helped with a good end result ....)

Anyway, what a wonderful thing, that this product exists in this world and is available for sale.
Thank you to all who had a hand in designing, promoting, selling, and supporting the Stereomour II.

Paul Birkeland: Thank you; I used two spray paints:

Rust-oleum metallic gold — for the chassis and power transformer end bell cover.

Rust-oleum hammered paint & primer, copper color — for the plate chokes.

Perhaps not the most professional paint job ever ... but hey, it's mine, and I did it!

That's a good looking SII, looks like the Eros (?) next to it is done in the scheme. Well done, enjoy the music.
