I'm most of the way through assembling my Smash kit and found one significant error in the manual:
P31, Building the Filament Power supply, 3rd step:
"( ) Attach the banded lead of a 5818 Schottky diode to 27L. Attach the banded lead to terminal 4 on the PT-7 power transformer." <-- Terminal 4 should have the "unbanded" lead connected.
Since there's only one "banded lead" on a diode, its pretty obvious that something's wrong & the picture is correct - so I don't think folks will make an error at this step.
A minor glitch, but worth correcting the next time the manual is rev'd.
There were a few places where the specified wire lengths were a bit on the short side, but I don't recall what they were.
The rest of the manual (thus far) is correct & easy to follow.
I do have to say that the Bottlehead assembly manuals are amongst the best I've ever encountered.
I should be able to finish tomorrow and see what it sounds like.
