Removing The Volume Pot for my CRACK/S.E.X. Amp.

Since i've been using my DIY Tube Preamp to control the Crack and S.E.X. i would like to remove the POT for both amp,I would like to know if i need to replace the POT with a resistors?The used POT will be installed into my new DIY Preamp.Thanks!

If you turn both pots all the way up, they will act as a nice pair of carbon film 100K resistors.
