Reduce Gain on Quickie

Hi Paul,

Can I use a 250 or 500K pot on a Quickie to reduce the gain? Would doing so change the sound quality?

Item #3 on the Crack FAQ will work on a Quickie:

Going to a higher impedance pot won't change the gain of the preamp, though it may roll off the treble a bit.
