Raw B+ voltage test reading high

Hi everyone,

I am in the middle of my first Bottlehead kit, things have been going smoothly so far until I got to the Raw B+ Voltage test. My reading is coming in at 339vdc. everything looks in order to me, I am not the most experienced solderer (have built an ACA amp and a few cables before). No reversed capacitors, all joints have been mechanically joined before soldering and no excess leads touching other pads or components I can see. My wall voltage is quite high (124v), with that in mind is 339v on the RAW B+ acceptable?

here are some pics, of the build so far.

Thank you!

I'll leave it to Paul to render judgement, but I will say that my raw B+ ran a bit on the hot side as well. I built two moreplays and both ran on the high side of the range. One was 119VAC at the wall with a B+ of 324VDC. The other was 120VAC with a B+ of 321VDC. Note that wall readings and B+ readings were taken at four different times during the builds and wall readings do vary day to day.

That is OK. For whatever reason, I think my line voltage was unusually low the day we wrote the manual, so I did not specify a broad enough range on that specific reading.
