Just received my film caps today. I just wanted to verify that these will be replacing the two caps by the speedball. Does orientation matter? Also, if I wanted to add wire to lengthen it what colors should I use? Thanks.
Most common solution is to secure them with zip ties attached to zip tie holders. These holders can be screwed to the top plate, directly or with standoffs, or glued with epoxy. When you google "Bottlehead Crack Caps" you will find pics.
