[Question] Bottlehead Crack top plate dirty?

Hello, my kit came in the mail a few days ago and I noticed something on the plate. The top side looks fine, but the underside looks like there are some burns? I still have it left in the bag

I don't exactly the know the name of this part but do you know how I can clean up that corner?

Then spots on the underside of the panel are just from the laser cutting process. The stuff on the end bell looks like an excess of the oil/wax that is put on them to keep them from rusting in storage. It comes off with a cleaner like 409 or solvent like acetone. Put a finish on the beel end to keep it from rusting. It can anything from car wax to spray paint to powder coat.

Giving the marks on the bell end a rub with a dish/pan scouring pad and some nail polish remover or isopropyl alcohol will quickly remove that mark you can also clean up the underside of the top plate in the same way. Isopropyl alcohol will also be useful in the build to clean up any pcb boards like the Speedball after soldering in all the components its relatively inexpensive.

Shouldn't really need to clean up the PC boards after soldering. I never do.
