Thank you Doc and Crew!

My Crack +Speedball arrived solidly packed and intact. Took a couple of days to build including some Teak Oil finish to the base. It came up without a hitch and is quite spectacular sounding! I’ve rekindled my love of classical material that has been well mastered.

The volume was quite twitchy and I’ve added the volume pad mod and now I’m in the middle range of the pot throw. I drive it with my iPhone Music app delivering lossless up to 96k (higher resolution also available) into a schitt Modi Paired with a new HD650 is pretty astonishing.

Now it’s on to some tube rolling and then building and installing the Speedball.

Thanks again to Doc and all  the staff and crew! Top notch operation. Well done!
Andrew.

Congrats on a successful build, but remember no pics = no proof. (Hahaha) Please let us see your handiwork.

Okay Karl! ;D

I just saw your post today. Here's a couple of pics of my Crack build. About 25 hours of burn in so far.

Schitt Modi and diy Canare L-4E6s RCA cables shield grounded on the Modi end and with Neutrik connectors.  Speedball install and a tweak to the Volume pad to get a little more juice will be done soon-ish.

Thanks!
Andrew.
