Power transformer Crack specs

For a new Crack project, I'm interested in the HV headroom on the power transformer.
This as I'd like to build a normal Crack with a low dropout HV regulator instead of the classic choke setup.
Could i take 10-20mA extra?

There's a pretty hefty amount of HV headroom on the Crack PT.  For a HV regulated Crack, we do have the Crack-a-two-a.  Over the years we have developed a substantial preference for the sound of shunt regulated circuits rather than series regulated circuits, but you'd want to run a lot of regulator current in a shunt regulated Crack, so for that we went with the much larger power transformer and larger chassis.

Thanks for that PB. I'd like to experiment some with the HV on my next Crack; i'd like to keep things small this time.
A Crack a two wouldn't fit the desk as good as a Crack does. I prefer the small package.
My previous used a Triad C7X for each 270R in the powersupply and it grew out of it's original case.
I'll try a cap multiplier circuit first; see how that sounds when compared to stock.
