I am looking for some decent power supply capacitors for a project. 10,000 uf @ 25 WV, rated for 105c   When I go to Digikey or Mouser, the filters used are a lttle overwhelming. I am thinking maybe Panasonic or Elna. Any ideas?

Well folks, once again, the members of this site show to be a great help. Thank you so much for your quick reply....and now, the REST of the story. By mistake I have hooked up high voltage(136VDC) to a low voltage heater supply(6.3VDC). Yipes! is right, and so far, I have changed out the voltage regulator and two other caps. I decided while I was at it, to upgrade these caps to a higher temp. rating. More on that later..

Hey Greg - not sure about power supply caps but I think I would go with Elna - here is the link for electrolytics.

cheers - Eric

Elna caps are nice, but mostly used if they need to be in the signal path. The above article refers to the Elna Silmic II.  They do not come in the high values discussed. I think the max is 100uf.
Cheers,
Geary

Hey Geary - dis is true, BUT I think there is a 'house sound' to components. I sleep better, and I know Greg sleeps better, knowing that his caps get along. Its probably irrational, but WGAF (not sure if that's an approved web abbreviation).

Yah, that's what started this whole thing. Two Nichicon caps were gettin into it. Cap down, cap down....I got up to see what was goin on....cap down cap down, nobody knoes nuthin
