Power Amp configuration for Stereomour?

I'm wondering what changes to the amp could/should be made to use as a power amp. Remove the input select circuit and switch, of course.  My question is: what to replace the volume pot with? A fixed resistor? Anything else?  Thanks! 
P.S. new to forum, but have a Seduction and Paramounts.

The old Paramours had a fixed 249k Ohm resistor across the input RCA jack.

Since they both are rated at 270k input impedance, that seems reasonable.
