Plain Jane Crack

Just finished this build today (10/30/13).  This is my first build, so it took me about 15 hours, but I had no issues when it was done!  I want to stain it with a cherry finish and gloss; other than that, it'll remain stock.

Nice work.  Did you paint the transformer end bell?

How about a picture of the underside too?

Not planning on painting the bell for now.  I'll try to post the underside later, the thread doesn't seem to want to accept my .png files today.

Damn skippy!  It didn't work at first, because like an idiot, I put the fuse inside the square part of the fuse holder instead of the actual fuse cradle.  As soon as I figured that out, I was well pleased!

The square part is where you stash a spare fuse.  Like spare tubes that is always a good thing to have.

finished the woodworking today 11/02/13.  Minwax English chestnut stain with 3 coats semigloss finish.  The bell is also painted, but I need to even it out a bit.
