overlong leads-i burnt some insulation near solder joints - removed burnt wire

insulation    and nothing is shorted can i leave like this ? or repair with liquid elec tape, regular elec tape or must leads be removed and resoldered? (lots of work) this is my first build and going great-my opinion

Posting a picture might be helpful. The best way is usually to disconnect the wire and slip a piece of heat shrink tubing over the bare section, then reconnect.
