Orientation of Power Switch

Hi guys,
This is my first build of this type, so please excuse this fairly basic question...

In the manual on pg 11, it says to "be sure that the white dot [of the power switch] sits to the outside of the chasis" when it is snapped in. My power switch does not look like the one pictured in the manual, so I wanted to confirm the correct orientation. If I flip the project over and orient the two prongs toward the transformer (as shown on pg 15), like this:

Then the top of the power switch looks like this (which puts the circle/dot toward the inside of the chasis and the line toward the outside):

Am I correct in assuming that this is the correct orientation? Thanks!

That is correct. When a switch has a dot, the dot indicates the "on" position. When a switch is marked with a zero and one, the one indicates the on position, as it does in all binary systems.

Excellent!
Thanks so much for your help...I am sure that is the first of many new things I will learn along the way:)
