Now that I bought that fancy wire . . . I guess I shouldn't have

Picked up some Kimber SF23, UP-OCC copper, and soft-annealed silver. And I'm looking at the pieces that make up the Crack kit that I'm going to build - the printed circuit board traces, tinned component leads, the Neutrik phono jack, the solder, and  . . .. Jeez, what was it I thought I was going to accomplish with boutique signal wiring? The supplied Carol tinned copper hook-up wire is looking better to me now.

I still have 10 sets of upgrade parts waiting in to be installed in the Eros.  It has been 2 years since the Rock Stock build.  I have added two tweaks.

Ok, I'm slow!

You can still hear a difference in some cases. I personally like to have shielded wire over long runs, so that can be an "upgrade".
