No problems with Crack build, but stumped by Speedball [resolved]

Hi, first post here. I'm having exactly the same problem. A8 led and 2 leds at the top right area of the big board completely out, smoke from terminal 15-16, and the same voltage rating on terminal 1 and 2. Have you found a solution to this or could anyone help me ?

Start by checking your mounting of the TIP50 transistors.  Excessive heat in the power supply generally means that you do not have the TIP50's properly insulated.

Turned out I lost the 2 fibre washers somehow. Just bought the replacements and my Speedball'd Crack works absolutely normal now. Thanks a lot, PB. I would never have spotted this mistake without your help.
