Hi everyone,

Well, here is my set up so far.

First of all, I would like to thank the Bottlehead crew for their support and help to trouble shoot my problems.  I truly appreciate it.
I think that the service you offer, especially on troubleshooting on your Forum, is outstanding and the reason I keep buying and recommending Bottlehead whenever I can.

Next up:  Beepre but I can't imagine how much better my system will sound than it currently does with my Quickie.

Thanks again guys for the great products and excellent service.

Dave

Really nice system Dave. As good as it sounds now you are in for a real treat when you go from Bottlehead's entry level preamp to their top of the line unit.  They don't charge more without a corresponding improvement in sonics.  I'm hoping to have a pair of Paramounts in my main system one day too.
Enjoy!

I love the Paramounts Jamie.  PJ said to wait until 20-50hours for break-in.  I am about 20 hours now and they are sounding very nice.  I don't really have a lot to compare to but they are wonderful.  Looking back no regrets on pulling the trigger.  They definitely have added a lot to my system.  I will eventually upgrade the tubes.

Thanks Kevin for the compliment.  I really like my system.  I can't wait to get the Beepre up and running.  After that I think that I will go with the Eros.  I have a Graham Slee that is rated very well but naturally I want a all Bottlehead set up. :)

Dave,

Like the system.  I have a Quickie and thought about building paramounts as well.  Funny what you said about not wanting to upgrade, been running the stock Quickie about a year now, with no tweaks except a set of resistors to attenuate the input and some tube dampers as well (just ordered some russian k75's for coupling caps).  Have you made any changes from stock?  Also, what do you use as source?  The Quickie can sound scary good with high quality flac files and a decent dac.

Hi Dave,

I have really enjoyed the Quickie but know that the Beepre will sound even better.  I am really impressed with how a $99 Quickie can sound.  For my Quickie I have installed the PJCSS and have upgraded the caps to Mundorf Evo Aluminum with Oil, and have installed a $25 attentuator from China.    I forget the name of it but it has been mentioned on either the Crack or Quickie board.  Also, I have put Valvo tubes in it.

For my source I am strickly listening right now to my Project RPM 5.1 with 2m Bronze.  I will eventually get a better TT.  The Project is great bang for the buck but will go higher on the TT scale.
