My modified Quickie and family

Had to modify the original format to accommodate a stone box which is smaller for the gravity setup.  I don't like the batteries on top, so I put everything underneath; I prefer that very much more!

I therefore redisposed many components.

I love its sound, though with the stone frame, it can get quite microphonic (bell sound).

I coupled it to a pair of De-Lite Deluxe (design by NPass) and really like the combination.

Thank you Bottlehead for another very nice project!!

Sweet looking setup!  Is that a choke loaded Quikie or transformer coupled?

Not sure I could make a difference.. LOL

I replaced the plate resistor with a choke, so I guess it is a choke loaded Quickie.

I am just not used to the technical terms...  ;o)
